BURBANK, Calif., Aug. 27 On September 8, 2008 the JoslynAdult Center in Burbank will be hosting a Disaster Preparedness Eventsponsored by the National Alliance For Healthy Communities (NAFHC) and theCity of Burbank. The focus of this event is to educate older adults -- 55years and over -- on how to look after yourself in an emergency. Participantswill learn how to make a plan, assemble a disaster supplies kit, prepare anemergency food supply and more. Regal Medical Group is partnering with theCity of Burbank and will be at the event educating these older adults onhealth related issues during a disaster.

The event will take place from 12:30pm until 2:00pm at the Joslyn AdultCenter located at 1301 West Olive Ave in Bubank. Admission is free butreservations required and there will be gifts for the first 200 guests. PleaseRSVP to 818-238-5353.
