The drive helps collect and provide non-perishable food and clean and presentable clothing to the homeless and other needy populations. The facility at 1400 N. Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale will act as a collection and redistribution center for deserving churches, homeless shelters, outreach centers, soup kitchens and food sharing providers. Some items will also be distributed directly to homeless and needy folks on the streets of Broward Country, Florida.

Beginning April 15, 2016, Arthur Carl Kanev and his devoted group of volunteers will arrange for the pick-up of large quantities of non-perishable food items and clothing, both used and new, anywhere within Broward County, FL. They will also arrange to accept deliveries of said items at the redistribution center located at the Sanctuary Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

"These items will then be sorted, packaged and redistributed to other Christian groups who then will serve the homeless community and other needy folks within their local communities," stated Dr. Kanev.

Some of these institutions are: Love Thy Neighbor/Chef Arnold Abbot and Chef Stanley; Broward Outreach Center/Pompano Beach/Nina; St. Laurence Chapel Homeless Day Shelter/Cathy Bass; All Saints Catholic Church and Soup Kitchen/Father Bob Caudill; The Agape Café of St. Martins Episcopal Church/Ken Steel; Parish of Saints Francis and Claire/Pery Canan; Unity Church/ Marka; and the Second Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale/Reverend Dwayne Black. All donations are tax-deductible through the 501(c)(3) I.R.S. tax-free designation of these organizations.
