After living more than half a century in a seemingly healthy state, Stephen Knapp discovered that he had an incurable disease. MS was a foreign term for him; he didn't know anyone who had the illness, making his knowledge of Multiple Sclerosis non-existent.

As he studied MS he discovered two strikingly amazing facts, he was getting worse and the symptoms he was feeling were strangely familiar. The more research Knapp did, the more apparent it became: he had been suffering from the disease for 50 years and was not aware of it.
"Don't Ask Me How I Feel, I Have MS" covers Knapp's memories of the effects of MS starting in his early childhood and how it affected the rest of his life. MS forced him to the brink of despair and gave him a new outlook on life as he acquired the skills and attitude to cope with the disease.
In "Don't Ask Me How I Feel, I Have MS," Knapp takes the reader along on his journey of life. He covers his first doctor's visit, his family and friends.
"I was a walking enigma, and clueless as to why. I've had MS all my life and just didn't know how to read the signs. But, then, no one else did either," says Knapp.
About the Author: Stephen Knapp grew up in a small town in Kansas. Stephen chose not to follow his father and grandfather's footsteps to become a lawyer. At 14, he was a radio announcer and junior golfer.
He was married for 36 years. He has four children and three grandchildren. He attended the Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, CO. He has a BS double major in psychology and sociology from Utah State, an MBA in marketing from the University of Houston and an MPA from Florida Atlantic University. He is currently living in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife Janis.
