Founded in 2007, the USC CBC is one of the country's first digital health innovation centers inside a university-based medical enterprise. It operates as a visionary think tank to use cutting-edge solutions in digital technology, engineering and evidence-based medicine to transform healthcare solutions for patient/doctor decision-making. As one of eight foundational partners in the USC CBC's Virtual Care Clinic, Doctor Evidence plans to launch the first ever evidence-based medicine patient application later this year, providing a solution for world-class, on-demand medical care accessible to patients globally. The model, working in partnership with CBC, will use virtual reality technology, artificial intelligence, and society guidelines matched with individual patient profiles to provide the most reliable and up-to-date healthcare to patients through any smart device.

DRE provides access to comprehensive data delivered from peer-reviewed content, clinical trials, conference proceedings abstracts, epidemiology data, and drug labelling data which is pooled and analyzed through its dynamic, scientifically-curated data platform (DOC Data) to inform evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for patients worldwide, including for the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

"We are committed to ensuring that the most current, relevant, trustworthy data is readily available to doctors and patients when they are considering a healthcare decision," affirmed Robert Battista, MBA, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Doctor Evidence. "Doctor Evidence will bring the highest quality evidence to the CBC's solutions and will collaborate with Dr. Leslie Saxon, a USC cardiologist and professor of clinical medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and Dr. Andrew Keibel to inform their efforts.  In a clinical setting, any patient gets presented the standard of care guidance from the leading relevant society, and we will supplement that with personalized evidence matched to the specific patient profile."
