Debra Strickland joins Foresight Corporation in time for HIPAA 5010 Mandate

DUBLIN, Ohio, Oct. 15 Foresight Corporation is pleased toannounce that healthcare industry expert Debra Strickland has joined thecompany's Development division as Senior Solutions Architect.

In this role, she will work closely with prospects and customers topropose and design new technical solutions, serve as a liaison betweenForesight and key healthcare industry groups, influence Foresight productroadmaps, and support Foresight's Sales and Marketing teams. The position willenable Foresight to draw from her experience in leadership roles with theWorkgroup for EDI (WEDI) and X12, where she spearheaded development of the 835remittance advice transaction, developed new transactional models forconsumer-directed health plans, and helped articulate the interpretation ofthe real-time adjudication business process model.

Strickland's healthcare tenure includes prior positions with PayformanceCorp. (Jacksonville), Aetna Insurance Company (Hartford) and eEmergence(Albany NY). Her experience spans a variety of areas: healthcarepayer-provider services, systems integrations and client consultations,customized solutions development, quality assurance, product management, andhealth network management. She is widely regarded as an expert on 5010migration, consumer directed health plan models, and EDI transitions and costbenefits. She holds Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Springfield College inMassachusetts.

Foresight Corporation helped healthcare payers like WellPoint, Inc.,Independent Health Association, and Coventry Health Care manage the firstHIPAA migration to 4010 standards, and is again working with BCBS plans andother payers on implementing 5010 guidelines as they are announced.
