WHAT:
Hollywood staples and top prostate cancer researchers will join the Boston-based AdMeTech Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improved early diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer, at the "Dance for the Cure of Prostate Cancer" event to raise awareness of and funding for advanced diagnostic imaging for prostate cancer. During the event, the AdMeTech Foundation will announce the development of a strategic partnership among international thought leaders that will help lead the fight to end the prostate cancer epidemic.

The event is sponsored by AdMeTech Foundation, Rhino Films, and SuperShag Dance Studios.
WHY:
Prostate cancer is a national epidemic. One in six men are stricken, and a new case is diagnosed every 2.5 minutes. It has become even more common than breast cancer. While prostate cancer can be cured when detected early, the lack of reliable diagnostic tools has caused prostate cancer to become a patient-care crisis and a socio-economic problem. Improved prostate diagnostics, including digital imaging and in vitro tests (e.g. blood or urinary) are the solution.
