ATLANTA, March 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cousins Properties (NYSE: CUZ) announced today that Amgen, one of the world's leadingbiotechnology companies, has signed a 10-year, approximately 125,000 square-foot lease at Corporate Center, a 1,224,000 square foot Class A office asset located in the Westshore submarket of Tampa, FL.
The 125,000 square-foot Tampa space will be home to a new Amgen Capability Center, staffed with approximately 450 Amgen employees, responsible for the delivery of business-enabling services including operational, analytical, staff support and business support activities.
Amgen plans to open its new Tampa location in late 2017.
Including the 125,000 square foot lease with Amgen, Cousins has signed approximately 202,000 square feet of new and renewal leases in Tampa during the first quarter of 2017.
