CoreSpine Technologies Expands Spinal Disc Site Preparation Efforts

MINNEAPOLIS, May 1 CoreSpine Technologies, LLC, anemerging spinal device company announced today the expansion of its platformtechnology for spinal implant procedures to include an application forminimally invasive fusion.

The development of CoreSpine's Technologies' initial prototypeconcentrated on generating a complete and selective nucleus removal device.The technology was recently expanded to incorporate a cartilage removal devicefor endplate preparation. The importance of the company's proprietarytechnology is elevated as spinal implants and therapies begin to require moreeffective nucleus removal and endplate preparation through limited access.

There is a strong momentum within the spine industry to move in thedirection of products that support tissue sparing, motion preserving andminimally invasive techniques. The goal of CoreSpine's proprietary technologyis to universally meet the specific preparation requirements of both currentand emerging implant technologies.

Initial data to support the technology's enhanced ability over existingoptions will be presented at the Spine Arthroplasty Society's 8th annualmeeting in Miami.
