LAS VEGAS, July 12 Cord Blood America, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBAI) (www.cordblood-america.com) announced today that it has begun its continuing education program for the nation's 2.9 million registered nurses on the value of cord blood collection as a potentially life-saving resource for treating serious diseases. The first two courses were recently held in Pennsylvania and West Virginia with additional courses planned in various states in the upcoming months. The approved nationwide program, and its enormous potential for educating the medical community on the value of stem cell storage, is discussed in an interview by analyst Francis Gaskins, well known as one of the nation's leading IPO analysts, with Cord Blood America CEO and Co-Founder Matthew Schissler.

"These courses, held by Shamoon Ahmad, M.D., M.B.A., FACP, Director of our Medical Advisory Board, and Dr. Geoffrey John O'Neill, Cord Blood America's Medical Director, train nurses on the value of collecting stem cells at birth," said Mr. Schissler. "This training is crucial because nurses are the people most likely to speak to pregnant patients so these seminars provide both important educational content and help to strengthen our brand."
Cord Blood America is supporting the Mandatory Continuing Education Law, Act 58, by helping nurses take advantage of planned learning opportunities. These courses provide nurses access to education, improving their knowledge and skills in regards to stem cells, cord blood collection, and the current and future treatable therapies.
