Cookie Magazine and Lord & Taylor Launch 'Cookies for Kids' Cancer' in Support of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month on September 13th, 2008

NEW YORK, Sept. 2 Cookie Magazine and Lord & Taylor willlaunch a nationwide initiative on September 13th with "Cookies for Kids'Cancer," to observe National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. "Cookies forKids' Cancer" ( is a not-for-profit organizationcommitted to finding new and improved treatments, and ultimately a cure, forpediatric cancer by raising money through the sale of their all-naturalchocolate chip cookies and local grass-roots bake sales across the country.

Starting on September 13th, National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day, theorganization's signature all-natural chocolate chip cookies will be availablefor purchase in the children's department of 46 Lord & Taylor stores, whilesupplies last. One hundred percent of each delicious $3 treat will go directlyto help find a cure.
