The MedFlash Personal Health Manager is an internet based, data storage and transfer platform that allows a person to manage all of their health information. It features secure storage and access to data from a variety of sources including: FAX machine, PACS images, X-ray's, MRI's, lifestyle records, insurance payment systems, legal forms, advance directives and family history. The PHM provides a platform for the support of actionable healthcare applications that patients can use to leverage their personal health data in order to make more informed decisions in the management of their healthcare. The MedFlash PHM features include, but are not limited to, a secure computing platform with multiple access points, powerful storage systems and secure data transfer capacities.

The MedFlash PHM provides for "Meaningful Use" (under the guidelines the HHS has issued to date). The HHS is scheduled to release the final "Meaningful Use" standard in December 2009. Meaningful use is a key element that qualifies physicians and hospitals to receive funding under President Obama's healthcare reform. The management of Connectyx believes that this product will become an integral part of healthcare. Like the cell phone's growth from an unheard of and cumbersome technology to today's easily used and vital part of everyday life. The majority of Americans believe that using an online health management tool would provide a vital benefit for improving their health.

MedFlash's PHM will help patients avoid adverse drug interactions and become more compliant, enabling a higher level of continuity of care. Patients report that when they read their physician's notes after they leave the office it helps them understand their conditions. How often have you left a physician's office and asked yourself, "What did he mean?" Continuity of care is enhanced when patients become proactive in managing their own health and have access to their information. The PHM differs from other products in that it includes a broad group of healthcare aspects in encouraging wellness. The MedFlash PHM will, at some juncture, initiate a social network that allows individuals with similar ailments to communicate with each other taking involvement with their health to a new level.

Ronn Schuman, Connectyx President & CEO stated, "We believe that Connectyx is one of the first providers of a service of this type to put the needs of physicians and their staff to the top of the list in the product development cycle." Mr. Schuman further stated, "More importantly, when a patient equipped with the MedFlash PHM arrives at a physician's office the receptionist will enter their ID code or insert the patients flash drive into their computer. The practice's forms will be preloaded and the patients information can be retrieved. When the patient leaves the office, the MedFlash portal will be updated and/or they will have the flash drive returned with pertinent data entered on it. Doctors notes, changes to prescriptions or physical therapy and other instructions will also be included as the MedFlash PHM platform product technology advances."
