Colombia Appoints Dallas Chiropractor to Olympic Team

DALLAS, July 24 Colombia has appointed Dallas sportschiropractor, Dr. Camille Reagan to serve as a member of its medical teamduring the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing. Dr. Reagan has extensiveexperience in the international sports arena, having worked with the CostaRican team for the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.

"It is a privilege to bring the profession to an international sportsplatform," said Dr. Reagan. "The athletes believe that chiropractic careprovides them a competitive edge and allows them to perform at a higherlevel."

Dr. Reagan's expertise in the field of sports chiropractic is wellrecognized by Colombia's request to have her present at an event as grandioseas the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This year, Colombia will send 66 athletes tocompete in 15 events, making this the biggest delegation of athletes to theOlympic Games in the country's history.

For years, countries around the world have reached out to doctors ofchiropractic (DC) from the United States for their expertise in sportschiropractic care. Dr. Reagan received her DC education from Parker College ofChiropractic, located in Dallas, Texas, then went on to earn a DiplomateAmerican Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP) certification,making her an expert in the field. She currently operates Reagan ChiroSportCenter, which offers chiropractic care, sports therapy, and overall familywellness services.

Dr. Reagan's international presence adds to the widespread influenceParker College and its graduates are having on the world. Through thecollege's programs, outreach opportunities, and thousands of alumni, regionsincluding South and Central America, as well as countries including Japan,Australia, and New Zealand have all been exposed to the benefits ofchiropractic care.
