Toronto startup using disruptive business model to change the way businesses manage benefits
TORONTO,Oct. 26, 2016 /CNW/ - Collage Technologies Inc. ("Collage") today announced the launch of its new HR and benefits platform for Canadian businesses. The cloud-based software application helps businesses automate administration
Available at no cost to Canadian businesses, Collage earns money through commissions paid by insurance companies when customers use the Collage platform to manage their benefits plan. Collage is a registered insurance broker in Ontario and has licensing applications in process across the rest of the Canadian provinces.
"Our mission at Collage is to help Canadian businesses to take care of their people," said Elijah Moore, co-founder and CEO of Collage. "Most small and medium businesses in Canada still manage their HR with paper and spreadsheets, and more than 50% of these businesses still don't offer health benefits to their employees. Our free platform makes it possible for all businesses to offer an amazing employment and benefits experience for their team."
The Collage platform makes it easy for businesses to onboard new employees, complete tax forms, sign and store employment documents electronically, set up and track time off policies, automatically enrol employees in benefits and more.
"As someone who has spent his career as a group benefits advisor and broker, I am extremely excited to be launching Collage," says Collage co-founder Peter Demangos, MBA, CFP, CLU. "Our technology platform supercharges our ability to offer amazing employee benefits advice and service to our clients."
"From their benefits expertise to their outstanding customer service, Collage really goes that extra mile to make sure that we get the most out of this amazing platform," added Sarah Crandlemire, HR coordinator at eSight, a biotechnology company based in Toronto.
