Clinical Outsourcing Leaders Summit Set to Convene November 13

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 The Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO) is pleased to announce it will convene the inaugural Clinical Outsourcing Leaders Summit with a select group of senior pharmaceutical, biotech and clinical research executives November 13, 2008 in Washington, DC.



This exclusive event will feature high-level, interactive discussions surrounding the impact of the presidential election on biomedical research and various aspects of drug development. Among the featured speakers are:



Dr. Mark B. McClellan, Senior Fellow and Director of The Engelberg Center for Healthcare Reform at the Brookings Institution and former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration;



Bill Thomas, former U.S. Congressman and former Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means. Currently a Senior Advisor to Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney PC and a Visiting Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute;



Dr. Andrew Dahlem, Vice President and COO, Eli Lilly Laboratories;
