A key to achieving the maximum value from automated test equipment is using the same test equipment and mechanics to test multiple products. Circuit Check's 6000 Series achieves this by using interchangeable fixturing plates. Quick-change fixture plates maximize equipment re-use while minimizing the cost for each new test. The CCI 6000 can perform a variety of functions, such as functional test, flash programming, vision inspection, through-connector test and/or marking. "A drop-in fixture option allows for quick change from one product to the next, usually within minutes", says Russ.
"The CCI 6000 adds to our portfolio of line-automation solutions. Similar to the CCI 5000 series, the 6000 series begins as a base architecture then configured to customer specific needs in order to maximize performance at a lower investment. All of our line-automation products support many suppliers of functional measurement equipment, marking tools, labeling, vision inspection and flash programming technologies", says Greg Michalko, CEO of Circuit Check. "OEM's and contract manufacturers worldwide compete on product production throughput and rapid time-to-market. The CCI 6000 answers manufacturing needs for a flexible, economical automation solution, adaptable to existing production process flows", commented Greg.
