Award-winning fitness center to offer free memberships to first responders in Westminster and Arvada

WESTMINTER, Colo., July 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chuze Fitness, an award-winning national fitness center, announced today it will open its first Colorado location in Westminster, located at 8601 N. Sheridan Blvd. at noon on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. With 18 locations across California and Arizona, Chuze is breaking into the Denver market, offering members an affordable, refreshing change from typical "big box" gyms with premium amenities and monthly membership rates starting at $9.99. Chuze Fitness will open two additional Colorado locations this year in Thornton and Littleton, with plans to open up to three more in 2017.

"We like to say that Chuze is the gym for the rest of us," said Bryan Brown, General Manager of Chuze Fitness Westminster. "We provide a top-tier experience at a rock bottom price, offering appealing amenities in a professional, friendly, extremely clean environment that our members really love. We're thrilled to be part of the Westminster community and show the people of Colorado what we're all about."

Chuze offers an unparalleled array of amenities and fitness choices including a special cardio theater – a full cardio room with dozens of treadmills, elliptical trainers and bikes where members can watch new release movies in a full-screen movie theater. Other amenities at Chuze include:

  • A diverse class schedule offering something for everyone including yoga, boot camps, Zumba, spinning and much more.
  • Team training – small group interval training
  • Circuit training
  • Hydro-massage beds
  • An indoor pool
  • Infrared saunas
  • Steam room
  • Jacuzzi
  • Childcare at the Kids Club

Chuze was founded in 2008 based on a commitment to create the industry's cleanest, friendliest, most affordable gym. At Chuze, rather than hiring an outside cleaning crew to clean the equipment, the management team is tasked to keep all aspects of the facility pristine. The Chuze staff is highly trained in customer service, guest relations and personal fitness, creating a hospitality-centric culture.

Chuze members pay as low as $9.99 per month, with a $39.99 annual fee charged after 90 days for unlimited access to all equipment and locker rooms. Memberships with added value are $19.99 per month for access to hydro-massage beds, the sauna, steam room, classes and pool, and $39.99 per month for unlimited team training sessions, unlimited guest privileges and no-cost childcare (up to 2 kids), with the same nominal annual fee.

"For too long, people have been over-charged and under-served in the fitness and gym industry," continued Brown. "Chuze changes all of that with its value, amenities and staff."

Local First Responders To Get Free Memberships As part of Chuze's commitment to the community, all first responders including firefighters, paramedics and police in Westminster and Arvada can receive a free one-year basic membership to Chuze.

"These hometown heroes are under-recognized in our communities but at Chuze they are honored," added Brown. "It is part of our corporate commitment to give back to the people who serve us so selflessly."

To be eligible, first responders must live in Westminster or Arvada, show proof of their employment, and register by December 31, 2016.
