On June 15, Earl Buck, COO, and Jeff Myers, CFO, will conduct the pre-conference workshop "Financial Benchmarking:  Developing Metrics for Outreach Success."  Mr. Buck and Mr. Myers will discuss common challenges related to outreach business processes from a financial standpoint.  Attendees will gain knowledge and insight into tools for use in cost accounting, labor management, and pricing, and be able to apply what they have learned in their own environment.

Kathy Murphy, PhD, CEO, will present the findings of Chi's exclusive Tenth Comprehensive National Laboratory Outreach Survey on June 16.  The results of the much-anticipated survey will shed new light on key trends and issues facing outreach leaders across the United States.  Dr. Murphy will present an analysis of outreach market share, including how labs are expanding their competitive reach and challenges labs are experiencing as they grow.  Later that day, Dr. Murphy will lead "Making a Business Case for Your Outreach Program Based on the Profile of Your Organization's Culture."  In this unique breakout session, participants will learn how to identify personality profiles of decision makers in their organizations and how to customize their approach based on those profiles to ensure success.

On June 16, Chi Senior Consultant Anne Daley, an American Society for Quality Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQOE) and Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), will moderate a highly interactive breakout session titled "Outreach Innovation:  Solving Your Real-World Problems."  Participants in this session will discuss core issues faced by lab outreach programs today, brainstorm potential solutions, and walk away with innovative ideas for taking their programs to the next level.
