LONG BRANCH, N.J., July 23 The 2009 Pharma ChemOutsourcing Conference & Exhibition attendee list has been released, and the current 500 attendees and 100 exhibitors have been posted at http://www.chemoutsourcing.com/attendees_2009.php reports Mark Alexay of Apaporis LLC, the event organizer. Attendance is up 60% for this year's conference and has already surpassed 2008's record turnout. One thousand attendees are expected on September 14-16, 2009 at Ocean Place Resort.

The remarkable success of last year's meeting generated the positive buzz driving much of the growth. The 125-speaker list featuring a wide diversity of medicinal and process chemistry and chemical development management from large and small pharmaceutical companies is a key benefit for all attendees. The discussion format of the chemistry outsourcing and related technologies makes the gathering unique and highly informative. The 2009 speaker list is available at http://www.chemoutsourcing.com/2009_speakers_current.php

One hundred exhibitors will be on hand offering a wide variety of custom synthesis and chemical services. The exhibition is kept to only 100 suppliers to preserve the uniquely intimate and high value to attendees. The list of exhibitors and their profiles may be viewed at http://www.chemoutsourcing.com/sponsors.php

In 2009, a new conference track featuring outsourcing strategies for small molecule biotech track has been introduced to provide biotech company process and medicinal chemistry, supply chain and manufacturing management personnel opportunity to share their chemical sourcing experiences and strategies. Given the small size of most of the firms, the 35 speakers provide a rare glimpse into the challenges they face to secure external suppliers to do their scale up manufacturing. The track may be viewed at http://www.chemoutsourcing.com/agenda.trackd.php

Also new in 2009 is the vendor selection program, a separate track on September 15-16 that focuses on relationships between suppliers and clients. The frank discussions that will take place between the pharmaceutical and provider companies offers help in managing human relationships in a rapidly globalizing pharmaceutical economy. The topics and speakers may be viewed at http://www.chemoutsourcing.com/agenda.singletracks.php

The show will take place at the beachfront Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, NJ. The high end venue affords beach area for nightly barbecues and parties to facilitate informal networking. The show kicks off on Sunday, September 13 and ends Wednesday, September 16.
