LONG BRANCH, N.J., July 13 Attendance to Pharma ChemOutsourcing continues to grow at a torrid pace and is up 35% in 2010 and will reach 1000 attendees. This comes after explosive growth in 2009 as well.

ChemOutsourcing has found a home in the East Coast heartland of the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. "We have good relationships with local drug companies like Merck and Pfizer and a large number of small molecule biotechs," says Mark Alexay, the event organizer.

"We work hard to design the event to outstanding informational and networking needs. It's also helpful that 100 exhibitors are on hand to meet. Attendees tell us we are achieving the goal holding a superior event that efficiently employs time, human, and capital resources of attendees. Still, I'm shocked by the strong growth," adds Alexay.

"Another BIG factor driving attendance is the interest we are seeing from the emerging companies. After years of Big Pharma dominance we are seeing a dramatic shift in the structure of the industry," Alexay remarked. "Today, there are hundreds of little companies developing novel small molecule therapeutics and they outsource everything. These are the companies that are now showing up in droves"

There is a special rate offered for biotech companies with NCE Phase I-III clinical pipelines. Rate information is available on the homepage

Excellent networking is facilitated through various socializing events like the Beach Party and casino night. "These are outdoor gatherings that make it easy for people to talk to each other outside the stuffy hotel confines," says Alexay. It's much easier to strike up a conversation with someone when you're standing on the beach with a drink in your hand and the sand between your toes."
