HARRISBURG, Pa., May 21 As fast-food marketers launchprograms across the United States to promote fried chicken breakfastsandwiches to a time-pressured society -- one that is already challenged tofind time for exercise -- Capital BlueCross is responding by extending aninnovative local health program to its growing membership base across thestate and the nation.

Two years ago, the company launched the Capital BlueCross Healthy FamilyFun program, an initiative to promote travel-guide style local activities thatencourage members and their families to get up, get out, and get active for anhour or a day. All visitors to the Capital BlueCross Web site at www.capbluecross.com can search theHealthy Family Fun opportunities by location or type of activity, whileCapital BlueCross members can obtain local discounts by presenting theirmembership cards at time of purchase. Blue365 values are also available at www.capbluecross.com and membersobtain those discounts directly from the provider via the Web.
