NEW YORK, Jan. 15

WHAT: Candlelight vigil this evening to honor U.N. workers and the thousands of other victims from the earthquake tragedy that struck Haiti on Tuesday.

The worst earthquake to strike Haiti completely devastated the country with untold numbers of people dead and/or buried in the rubble. To honor U.N. colleagues, Haitians and every nation's citizens devastated by the quake, please join in this gathering of solidarity at the U.N.

WHERE: Hammarskjold Park [East 47th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues on the south side]

WHEN: THIS EVENING, Friday, January 15, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. ET
