CRH Medical Corporation opens Center in New York

VANCOUVER, May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - CRH Medical Corporation(CRM:TSX-V) announced today that it has opened a Center for Colorectal Healthin Bay Shore, Long Island. This Center is the Company's first in the state ofNew York, one of many new markets that CRH has targeted for expansion. Theopening of this location represents the 6th new Center opened in 2008 bringingthe Company's total number of Centers to 14.

According to the National Institute of Health, the prevalence rate ofhemorrhoids in the US is about 4.4% of the population. Approximately 50% ofthe U.S. population will develop hemorrhoids by age 50. The Company plans tosignificantly increase the number of Centers for Colorectal Health across theU.S. to address this underserved market.
