CIFG Names David Rockwell Chief Risk Officer; Thierry Dissaux to Head European Operations

HAMILTON, Bermuda, April 11 CIFG Holding, Ltd., theholding company for CIFG's financial guaranty subsidiaries, today named DavidRockwell Chief Risk Officer with overall responsibility for the company's riskmanagement activities and surveillance functions. At the same time, CIFG alsoannounced Thierry Dissaux will serve as Head of European Operations and CEOfor CIFG Europe.

"David and Thierry are both extremely experienced, seasoned professionalswho will help enormously in our efforts aimed at strengthening our riskmanagement procedures and building up our European presence," commented JohnPizzarelli, Chief Executive Officer of CIFG.

Mr. Rockwell has held several senior risk management positions over thelast 15 years, including Head of Structured Finance Risk Management at RadianAsset Assurance and Chief Credit Officer for AIG Risk Finance. He earned hisbachelor's degree at St. Lawrence University and a law degree from Albany LawSchool.

Mr. Dissaux has served in several positions, including corporatedevelopment and strategy, with CIFG and a former parent company, IXIS, since2000. Before that, he held various positions in the Treasury Department of theFrench Ministry of Finance, including serving as a financial attaché andTreasury representative to the American and Japanese financial authorities.Mr. Dissaux is a graduate of the ENA (Ecole Nationale d'Administration) andSciences Po and holds a diploma in engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris.
