Session title: Quality Track (Q4): Survey Agency Collaboration with the Long Term Care Culture Change Movement WHY: Over 85% of 291 survey respondents in March 2007 from nursing homes, surveyors, and stakeholders in six Midwest states agreed on the strategies of LTC culture change; however, there was disagreement regarding perceived regulatory barriers to culture change. This presentation will help participants engage in constructive dialogue and will: -- Describe the commonly perceived regulatory barriers to the LTC culture change movement. -- Discover what actions have been taken in South Dakota to develop collaboration across stakeholders in the culture change movement. -- Identify two actions the participant can take to promote collaboration across stakeholders related to culture change strategies.
