BATON ROUGE, La., May 12, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --
The HomeCare Association of Louisiana, National Association for Home Care & Hospice, and Home Health Advocacy Coalition have postponed a scheduled May 18 event at the Governor's Mansion in light of the expected flooding in Louisiana next week.
Providers of home health services had planned to gather with U.S. lawmakers and Governor Jindal to discuss the value of home health in Louisiana. The groups have collectively agreed that providers should maintain their focus on caring for patients in potentially affected areas of the state.
The groups hope to reschedule the community event in June. Please contact 410-212-3843 with any questions or media inquiries.
