Considering the recent economic difficulties that the state has withstood, BHG's place in the top fifty stands out from the norm for most private companies in the region. According to Florida Trend, only 62 of the state's 200 top private companies -- just 32% -- posted an increase in revenue for 2009. From 2008 to 2009, BHG's revenue has remained strong, increasing from just over $105 million to $134 million -- a 21% increase.

BHG's success is evidence that the American entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well. It started with three people and an idea. Ten years later, BHG has developed into a highly specialized and agile financial institution, having provided over $500 million in working capital funds and boasting a portfolio of assets of more than $280 million.

Rapid growth and year over year profitability is part of what makes BHG a valuable asset to the South Florida region. The Florida office began in Weston, Florida, providing jobs to local residents, income to local retailers and other businesses in the area. In 2007, facing unprecedented growth and a crunch for space, BHG constructed a new, larger facility in Southwest Ranches, Florida, giving opportunities to local contractors, architects, and other service providers. BHG is active in local charities and was recently recognized by the Florida Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation for its support of the 2010 Arff-ritis Broward Walk. BHG is proud of its work force, with employees from diverse backgrounds and cultures, a vibrant college intern program, and excellent benefits. BHG currently has offices in Florida and New York and continues to grow.

Bob Castro, President of BHG stated, "Working in Florida, providing opportunities to the talented workforce here, has been outstanding for us at BHG. We look forward to making a bigger impact both here in the area and nationally as well."

BHG provides financing solutions to one of the nation's most important markets: healthcare professionals. Over a thousand healthcare professionals a month trust BHG for their financing. Offering up to $150,000 working capital with no hard collateral required and funding within seven business days, BHG fills a crucial need in the marketplace. With BHG's various programs, its clients can achieve operational cash flow, hire staff, consolidate debt, create new service offerings, renovate offices, upgrade equipment, and otherwise grow their practices.

Al Crawford, Chairman and CEO of BHG added, "It's a great honor to be included with the other successful companies on the list. We're very grateful and look forward to continued growth."
