The focus of his work is to improve the public'sunderstanding of issues related to addiction, treatment and recovery. He hasappeared on CNN's Larry King Live, the Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC Today Show,Good Morning America on ABC, and his work has been featured in scores ofnewspapers and other publications over the years. A former journalist andwriter for CNN, he lives with his wife and three children in St. Paul,Minnesota.
