Availity(R) Health Information Network offers providers access to Beneficiary Eligibility and Benefits as well as Claim Status Inquiry



JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Availity, LLC, a leading health information network, today announced its partnership with Humana Military Healthcare Services, Inc. (Humana Military) to provide network health care providers in Florida, Oklahoma, and Texas with the ability to conduct real-time Eligibility and Benefits Inquiry and Claim Status Inquiry transactions via the Availity(R) Health Information Network, a secure web portal. The partnership provides seamless information exchange with Humana Military and access to one of the nation's largest health care information clearinghouses and provider web portals.

Humana Military has been an administrator of the Department of Defense's TRICARE program since 1996 and provides access to quality, cost-effective health care services to 2.9 million active duty and retired military members and their families in the South Region of the United States. The company operates 70 TRICARE Service Centers and supports 53 military treatment facilities in the states of Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
