In 2007, AstraZeneca launched a women's leadership initiative whoseprincipal component is an innovative, structured peer coaching program calledSuccess Circles. The program strives to help women through coaching andleadership skill development. Additionally, AstraZeneca's employee networkgroups are an integral part of the company culture as they create new ways foremployees from various areas of the company to share resources and uniqueperspectives. Currently, there are 19 employee network groups at AstraZeneca,including groups for women, caregivers, working parents, mature workers, andadoptive parents. The company's on-site childcare center offers full andpart-time care for young children and infants and a summer day camp, beforeand after school care, and holiday care for school-age children.
