Miller brings more than 15 years of healthcare IT management anddevelopment experience to Artromick, including more than a decade developingclinical applications for physician practices, such as electronic medicalrecords (EMRs) and clinical workflow systems. Under his leadership, hedelivered Software as a Service offerings that ensured wide accessibility anddependability at the point of care.
Prior to joining Artromick he was with athenahealth, a leading provider ofInternet-based business services for physician practices. At athenahealth,Miller was vice president of athenaClinicals, where he developed the EMRindustry's first on-demand business model. Under his leadership,athenaClinicals achieved consistently high customer referenceability andimproved patient care.
Prior to athenahealth, Miller was chief technology officer of digiChart, aleading provider of healthcare information technology solutions and servicesfor obstetrics and gynecology. At digiChart, Miller led the development of aMicrosoft .NET-based EMR product for OB-GYN physicians and in-patient laborand delivery, and oversaw the transformation of the company from a physicianpractice management vendor to a software development company.
