American Lung Association Releases State of Tobacco Control Report Card
A press conference to announce results of the American Lung Association's State of Tobacco Control Report Card 2007, a national report card that evaluates federal and state tobacco control laws, compares them against recognized criteria and translates each state's relative progress into a letter grade ranging from A to F.
Specifically, states are evaluated in the following four areas:
-- Cigarette Tax Rate
-- Tobacco Prevention and Control Spending
-- Smoke-free Air
-- Youth Access
