American Life League Announces Third Training and Activism Weekend

WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 "Young people are taking upthe pro-life cause while those who advocate for abortion, America's hiddenholocaust, are getting older," said Phil Eddie assistant director of AmericanLife League's youth outreach program. "It is time for Planned Parenthood andtheir aging ilk to move aside as young Americans reform the culture of deathinto a culture of life."

From January 2o through the 22, American Life League's youth outreachprogram Rock for Life will be hosting its annual Training and Activism Weekendpreceding the annual March for Life, where hundreds of thousands of pro-lifersgather to mourn the loss of nearly 49 million preborn children since theSupreme Court's 1973 decision on Roe v. Wade.

"One third of our generation has been mercilessly slaughtered because oflegalized abortion," said Erik Whittington, director of the youth outreachprogram. "Therefore, we will continue to educate young people on the horribletruth about abortion and train them in the most effective ways to bring abouta culture of life."

Rock for Life's Training and Activism Weekend consists of variousactivities such as praying before a Planned Parenthood facility and the U.S.Supreme Court, and educational seminars hosted by pro-life experts. Theconference will be held in the ballroom of the Washington Court. In additionto its many seminars and resources, daily Catholic Mass will be offered forCatholics.
