Fitness Industry Leader's Chief Executive Brings More Than 25 Years of Experience to Organization's Board of Directors

SAN DIEGO, May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Council on Exercise (ACE), America's leading authority on fitness, is pleased to announce that Scott Goudeseune, the organization's chief executive officer, has been appointed president-elect of the National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity (NCPPA)'s board of directors.  Formerly holding the position of treasurer, Goudeseune now lends his fitness industry experience and keen business insights to further develop and enhance NCPPA initiatives in support of the collaboration and promotion of physical activity across a variety of public sectors including science, education and public outreach.

In his role as president-elect, Goudeseune will represent the NCPPA at events that unite like-minded groups to champion the organization's charge.  In addition, he will continue to serve as the chair of the Membership Committee, guiding its efforts toward creating new recruitment resources and developing expanded membership efforts.
