ROSA of South Alabama will offer state-of-the-art cancer treatmentservices, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guidedradiation therapy (IGRT), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) inthe facilities. The joint venture expects to build on Gulf Coast CancerCenters' legacy of providing high-quality cancer care to the residents andvisitors to the south Alabama region. The physicians currently servingpatients at each facility will continue to provide physician services topatients being treated at the facilities. William Hixson, M.D. will serve asmedical director for each of the facilities.
