Allscripts Electronic Health Record Ranked No. 1 by Physician Groups in KLAS Year-End Report

CHICAGO, Dec. 16 Allscripts today announced thatthe company's Enterprise (formerly TouchWorks(R)) Electronic Health Record(EHR) was named the No. 1 product in its market segment for the second year ina row by the prestigious research group, KLAS. In its closely watched 2008Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services report, KLAS alsorecognized Allscripts Care Management as the "Category Leader" in theDischarge Planning hospital market segment.

In addition to this recognition, several other Allscripts solutions -Allscripts ED Emergency Department Information System, Allscripts ProfessionalEHR, Allscripts Document Management, Allscripts Homecare, and AllscriptsPractice Management - all placed in the Top Three in categories in which theycompete, according to the report released Dec. 15.
