The awards program recognizes companies across varied industries in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming for performance excellence achievements. RMPEx offers four levels of award participation; the highest level is the Peak Performance Award, followed by the Timberline Performance Award, the Foothills Performance Award, and the High Plains Recognition Award. "This Timberline recognition is another milestone in our performance excellence journey and confirms our dedication to examining new opportunities for improvement," said Thomas Cycyota, President and CEO of AlloSource. "We look forward to taking the invaluable feedback gathered during this process and using it to grow our employees and our business, so we can honor the gift of tissue donation to the fullest."

In addition to AlloSource, the City of Ft. Collins and Sky Ridge Medical Center also received the 2013 Timberline Performance Award. The Timberline Performance Award is for companies with RMPEx experience that are familiar with the criteria and prepared for a detailed discussion about learning, approach, deployment and integration of processes. In addition to providing a written application to RMPEx, AlloSource staff members from several departments participated in a site visit with the RMPEx examiner team.

"AlloSource has steadily improved through hard work and relentless dedication to the Baldrige framework," said Kim Griffiths, Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence. "We are honored to present them with the Timberline Award and value them as a Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence sponsor."
