DUBLIN, Ohio, Sept. 19 Alliance Boots andCardinal Health today announced a sourcing and marketing agreement for thesale of Almus generic prescription medicines.
Cardinal Health is a global provider of products and services that improvethe safety and productivity of health care. Alliance Boots is aninternational, pharmacy-led health and beauty group.
The two companies have formed a marketing entity to serve as a platformfor the introduction of the Almus brand of generic medicines into the U.S.market. Generic pharmaceuticals sourced through this agreement will over timebe labeled under the Almus brand and will be distributed by Cardinal Health inthe United States. The agreement will enable both companies to gainadditional, global experience in an increasingly competitive marketplace forgeneric pharmaceuticals.
