Mr. Schmidt succeeds former Chief Financial Officer, John de Die, who hasbeen an exemplary guide for Agendia during his tenure. Mr. Schmidt bringsmore than 25 years of financial, operational and entrepreneurial managementexperience, primarily in the high tech and healthcare industries in the U.S.and Europe. Most recently, he was a principal at a consulting firm he foundedin 2002, providing high-level interim financial management and M&A services.Prior to that, Mr. Schmidt served as Operations Director at B2eMarkets, asupply chain technology company, and Director of Finance & Operations at LAGear Europe. Mr. Schmidt started his career at Cardinal Health, Inc. incorporate finance.
