NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 2 Aegis Health Group, the nation's leading healthcare business development company, has appointed Pearson Talbert as chief development officer. As a member of Aegis' executive management team, Talbert will provide leadership and vision to the sales and marketing staff as they focus on solutions to help hospitals grow revenues through employer partnerships and physician relationships.

To this newly created position, Talbert brings 15 years' healthcare business development and operational management experience. Immediately prior to joining Aegis, he served as vice president of sales and business development for Ingram & Associates, LLC, an affiliate of AIM Healthcare Services Inc. He spent the first several years of his healthcare career managing business office and payer relations for HealthSouth Corporation.

In his role as chief development officer, Talbert will plan, coordinate and assure implementation of strategies to market and advance sales growth in direct support of the Aegis mission.
