ARUP Consult 3.0 enhancements include:
-- Diagnosis tab: a newly formatted diagnosis section, allowingclinicians to access all diagnostic information in a single location, enablingclinicians to move quickly through the topic without additional clicks orscrolling
-- Collapsible tables: collapsible tables that enable health careprofessionals to expand or collapse test tables to reduce scrolling
-- email notification: physicians can subscribe to automatic emailnotifications to alert them when new information about one or moredisease-related topics and/or algorithms is available
-- Condensed guidelines reference section: clinicians can access allrelevant types of guidelines, including journals, National Guidelines Center,and scientific organizations, from a single box.
"ARUP Consult's goal is to assist the clinician with test selection andinterpretation," explained Jackson, "Knowing the right test to order for aspecific disease can improve patient care and decrease unnecessary testing andcosts."
