AHIP to Host Press Conference to Release New Report on the Quality of Care Medicare Advantage Plans Provide

AHIP's Medicare Conference, Capitol Hilton, Room Statler B, Washington, DC

As policymakers consider significant cuts to the Medicare Advantage program, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) will host a press conference to release a new report showing the higher quality of care seniors in Medicare Advantage plans receive compared to traditional Medicare. More than ten million seniors rely on Medicare Advantage for their health security. These plans provide seniors with additional benefits and services not available in the traditional Medicare program, including care coordination and disease management programs that are helping seniors get the care they need.

The press conference will be held in conjunction with AHIP's annual Medicare and Medicaid conferences on September 14-17. The conferences feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including policymakers, federal agency executives, notable academicians, and business leaders, and addresses the key policy issues in Medicare and Medicaid.
