INITIAL ACTIONS TO FOCUS ON ABATING THE FORECLOSURE CRISIS AND PROTECTING WORKING FAMILIES
WHEN: Tomorrow, Thursday, January 8, 2008 - 11:00 a.m. EST WHAT: Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) will hold a national media conference call to announce its 2009 social justice agenda. The agenda will focus on a number of events that will be held in 2009 to drive mortgage servicing companies to enact a 90-day moratorium on foreclosures and help keep working families in their homes. Additionally, ACORN leaders will layout their overall focus for lobbying, political actions and other efforts including reforming voter registration and healthcare.
