CPS is supported through a collaborative partnership between CMSA, the National Association of Social Workers, DMAA: The Care Continuum Alliance, and The American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, Inc.

Designed to bring together health care thought leaders, innovators, and collaborators, including CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, CMOs, Nurse Executives and Product and Program Directors, the 2009 Collaborative Practice Summit offers unique opportunities to engage, collaborate, and lead together.

Conference "thought leaders" will present on topics covering effective clinical strategies, innovative technology applications, meaningful performance benchmarking, and the future of working with health care professionals through generational barriers and workforce losses. Presenters include:
"CPS is a new resource to help participants to gain understanding of emerging models of care," stated Jeff Frater, RN, BSN, CCM, CMSA President. "The summit will host a unique set of individuals who can form relationships to assess performance measures and intervention strategies and to define success for the emerging practice models. New at the 2009 Summit will be the "CPS Resource Room," an intimate business setting featuring cutting-edge exhibits from 30 invitation-only health care-related organizations, known as "Innovators." It will provide a unique networking opportunity for conference attendees to interface with speakers, exhibitors, and other health care leaders.
