Warnings & Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with seizure disorders, migraine, or conditions influenced by edema; impaired hepatic, renal, or cardiac disease, pregnancy, lactation
Contraindication:
Undiagnosed genital bleeding, hypersensitivity to danazol or any component; pregnancy
Increased toxicity: Decreased insulin requirements; warfarin may increase anticoagulant effects
Dosage :
Adults: Oral: Endometriosis: 100-400 mg twice daily for 3-6 months (may extend to 9 months) Fibrocystic breast disease: 50-200 mg twice daily for 2-6 months Hereditary angioedema: 400-600 mg/day in 2-3 divided doses
Patient Information :
Notify physician if masculinity effects occur; virilization may occur in female patients; report menstrual irregularities; male patients report persistent penile erections; all patients should report persistent GI distress, diarrhea, or jaundice
