Management of a patient with abnormal vaginal bleeding

Relevant history

•  Age, parity, desire to retain fertility and menstrual function, contraception, cyclicity, length of cycle duration of flow, blood loss per day, duration of flow.
•  History of systemic diseases and medications.
•  Degree of social and physical impairment.

Physical examination

•  General (thyroid, obesity, hitduiyidm _ PCOs).
•  Bimanual pelvic examination.

Investigations

•  Hb, PCV, blood sugar.
•  USG.
