Drug Name : Saxagliptin and Metformin

Saxagliptin and Metformin(Kombiglyze XR) generic contains two oral antihyperglycemic medications (a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor and biguanide), prescribed for type 2 diabetes. It is not for treating type 1 diabetes. It works by decreasing glucose (sugar) production in the liver and by regulating the levels of insulin.
