How to Take Tenoxicam and it's Dose


It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- 20 mg/day as single dose for 7 days in acute disorders, up to 14 days in severe cases. Max: 40 mg/day (short term use).
IV/IM- 20 mg/day as single dose for 1-2 days.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcer, heart failure, asthma, during pregnancy (3rd trimester) and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Tenoxicam

This medication is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAIA), prescribed for pain and inflammation in muscles and joints.
