It comes as a solution for injection, administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV: The recommended dose is 500 mg/day/m² of body surface area for five consecutive days every six weeks.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation; known hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Streptozocin

This medication is an alkylating agent (chemotherapy drug), prescribed for pancreatic cancer.
