Rucaparib comes in the form of a tablet to be taken by mouth. It should be taken either with food or on an empty stomach with a time interval of 12 hours between the doses.
Rucaparib should be continued till the drug becomes ineffective as demonstrated by the disease progression or if there is any unacceptable toxicity with it.
