How to Take Romiplostim and it's Dose

It comes as a powder (diluted with fluid) for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider under the skin.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

SC- The initial dose is 1 mcg/kg based on actual body weight.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity and angioedema.

This medication is a thrombopoietin (TPO) mimetic protein, prescribed for low platelets (thrombocytopenia).
